The summary of the project:
The aim of the project is to promote international cooperation between DU and foreign scientific research institutions, attract funding from the EU Horizon 2020 and Framework Programme 9 for Research and Innovation of the European Union to strengthen the European Research Area with innovative research products, prepare and implement international cooperation projects, and improve the international scientific cooperation capacity of DU. Through the activities implemented within the project, regional and national issues will be contextualized at the EU level. The project funding will serve as a basis for international data collection, interdisciplinary scientific analysis, and testing of the conclusions using the latest technologies.
Planned results of the project:
– At least 17 Horizon 2020 and Framework Programme 9 of the European Union project applications developed, supported by the European Regional Development Fund and assessed above the quality threshold; – Attracting of cooperation partners during foreign business trips/visits; – Participation in partnership exchanges and information days organised within the framework of Horizon 2020 and Framework Programme 9 of the European Union – Participation in international scientific conferences; – Organisation of international scientific conferences in Latvia.
