All Daugavpils University full time students have an opportunity to study at DU partner universities or train abroad in an enterprise, a research institute, a laboratory or an organization or any other relevant workplace.

APPLICATION DEADLINE:

March 18, 2022 for studies in autumn semester 2022;

April 15, 2022 for traineeship (voluntary traineeship in summer (July-August), qualification traineeship in autumn semester 2022 and recent graduate traineeship (only for those who graduate in June 2022).

Erasmus+ programme is available in any study field and cycle (bachelor/ master/ doctoral).

STUDY MOBILITY

In order to successfully organize exchange studies abroad, choose the most appropriate partner university. The list is here. Please choose the partner university where you find the courses that fully or partially coincide with the study courses offered at DU.

All Erasmus + students receive a scholarship. The minimum amount of the scholarship per month is 580.00 EUR.  Scholarship depends on the country you are going to.

Studies abroad are free of charge.

TRAINEESHIP MOBILITY

1. Voluntary traineeship – study field traineeship (only for two months during the summer – July-August).
2. Qualification traineeship – embedded in curriculum and strictly takes place in accordance with study plan.
3. Recent graduate traineeship – students are selected in the last year/semester of study (before graduation) and must be carried out and completed abroad within one year of obtaining graduation.

Traineeships receiving organisation can be:

• any public or private organisation active in the labour market or in the fields of education, training, youth, research and innovation. For example, such organisation can be: – a public or private, a small, medium or large enterprise (including social enterprises);
• a public body at local, regional or national level;
• a research institute;
• a foundation;
• a school/institute/educational centre (at any level, from pre-school to upper secondary education, and including vocational education and adult education);
• a non-profit organisation, association, NGO;
• a body providing career guidance, professional counselling and information services;

At the end of the online traineeship application you will need to attach your CV in English, a Cover letter in English and a Confirmation from the host institution (please use DU Confirmation blank for traineeship).
