The Daugavpils University Centre of Lifelong Education aims to provide quality adult education and contribute to the development of a sustainable future society. The centre offers face-to- face and online professional development programmes confirmed by the Ministry of Education and Science of Latvia for in-service or future teachers, licenced programmes in the field of state and civil defence, face-to-face English language training courses supported by the U.S. Embassy in Latvia, face-to-face Chinese language and culture courses supported by the University of Latvia centre “Confucius Institute” and South China Normal University, as well as short courses in inclusive education, digital technologies and others demanded by and designed in cooperation with municipal institutions for the development of the 21st century skills.
