The Mathematical Research Centre was founded in 2010 as a research unit of the Mathematics Department. In 2015, the Mathematical Research Centre was incorporated into the Department of Technology. The main research directions of the Mathematical Research Centre are nonlinear boundary value problems for ordinary differential equations, mathematical models for gene regulatory systems, and dynamics of discrete-time dynamical systems. The Mathematical Research Centre also carry out research in linear algebra, graph theory, mathematical biology, and math education.
