Abstract

The current state of study of Fulgoromorpha and Cicadomorpha of Eastern Latvia (within the borders of Latgale) is presented. The work includes previously published data, unpublished data from the collection of J. Vilbaste for the period 1959-1964, stored in the entomological collection (IZBE) of Estonian University Life of Science (Tartu, Estonia), as well as original collections of the author for the period 2021-2022. Currently, there are 242 species in the region, and for the first time, four species: Eurybregma nigrolineata Scott, 1875 (Delphacidae), Edwardsiana spinigera (Edwards, 1924), E. sociabilis (Ossiannilsson, 1936) and Lebradea flavovirens (Gillette & Baker, 1895) (Cicadellidae) are listed at the territory of Latvia, and 28 species were recorded in Eastern Latvia. Lebradeaflavovirens has been recorded in the Baltic States for the first time.
