Representatives from Karshi State University (Uzbekistan) visited Daugavpils University to strengthen academic cooperation and promote the exchange of experience in the field of information technology. As part of the visit, Daugavpils University welcomed Shohjakhon Davronov, PhD, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Information Technologies, and Shakhzod Bobokulov, Assistant at the Department of Algorithms and Software Technologies at Karshi State University.

During the visit, the guests met with representatives of the information technology field to discuss current developments in IT, the organisation of the study process, and the implementation of digital solutions in higher education. An exchange of experience took place with the IT department regarding technological infrastructure, digital tools, and innovations in the study process. As part of the visit, the representatives from Karshi State University also delivered lectures to students and staff, sharing their expertise on fundamental data structures, including stacks, queues, and deques, as well as the practical applications of these structures in computing. The lectures covered current trends in the IT sector, as well as practical examples from academic and research activities.

During the visit, the guests also had the opportunity to explore the laboratories, technical facilities, and learning environment of Daugavpils University, which support a high-quality and modern study process. Further activities and the implementation of future cooperation were discussed from both administrative and academic perspectives.

Such international cooperation fosters knowledge exchange, strengthens partnerships between higher education institutions, and contributes to the development of innovation in the field of information technology.
