The programme was diverse and engaging. Under the guidance of Prof. Maija Burima, guests learned the basics of the Latvian language and culture, visited DU faculties, institutes and laboratories, and participated in experience-sharing discussions and a conference on digital innovation and security.

The cultural programme included a guided tour of Daugavpils’ historical centre and a visit to the Technique and Industrial Design Centre. The week concluded with a trip through the Latgale region, where guests enjoyed traditional cuisine and took part in a bread-baking workshop at the Aglona Bread Museum. The International Erasmus+ Staff Week once again proved that Daugavpils University is an open and internationally competitive institution. The Erasmus+ Programme Department extends its sincere gratitude to the entire university team for their hospitality and hard work!
