The Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences is organising the annual international scientific conference “History: Sources and People” on May 6–7, 2027.

The Conference aims to bring together researchers in history and related disciplines, creating an open forum for research based on the critical analysis of historical sources, without any specific chronological, geographical, or thematic frameworks.

The Conference working languages are: Latvian and English.

The deadline for paper proposals is February 1, 2027.

The Conference will take place online and onsite at Daugavpils University premises: Vienibas street 13, Daugavpils, Latvia.
