Description

To understand epiphyte dispersal in different scales, will be evaluated two rare epiphyte (moss Dicranum viride, lichen Thelotrema lepadinum) spatial structure. In addition, genetic analysis will help to identify the relatedness of D. viride metapopulations.

Results

Data were collected with D. viride and T. lepadinum presence/absence in 1×1 km square. Dicranum viride was studied in forest stands near Aizkraukle, but Thelotrema lepadinum was investigated in Dimanti mežs.
