The Airspace Threat Response Plan of Daugavpils University defines the actions of students, staff, and visitors of DU in the event that a suspicious unmanned aerial vehicle (drone) is observed on or near the DU premises, or if an official alert regarding an airspace threat is received via an official warning channel on a mobile phone.

The Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Latvia has prepared an informational booklet with recommendations for citizens on how to act in crisis situations. Its aim is to help prepare for a potential crisis. The booklet contains essential information both on how a person can prepare for a possible crisis and where to seek help and information. It also includes various valuable tips, such as what to include in an emergency bag, which medications should be kept at home, and which topics should already be discussed with family members today in order to ensure their safety.

The “112 Latvija” app is a free, modern mobile application that improves the ability of residents, especially people with hearing and speech impairments, to contact the unified emergency number 112, as well as to receive and access information that is essential for preparing for potential threats and reducing the consequences of incidents.
