Blended Intensive Programme (BIP)
Blended Intensive Programmes (BIP) are short, intensive study programmes that use innovative teaching and learning methods, including online collaboration, which is an obligatory component of the mobility.
BIPs are intended for both students (study mobility and study mobility with an included traineeship component) and staff training.
Duration of BIP
The duration of the physical mobility (on-site activities) may range from 5 to 30 days. Only one physical mobility period is allowed, and all physical mobility days must follow one after another accordingly. The duration of virtual cooperation is not limited. It may take place before and/or after the physical mobility period and/or in parallel with it.
Funding is granted to cover living costs and travel support.
| Mobility period | Individual support EU grant (EUR/month) | Additional support for participants with fewer opportunities | Individual support state co-funding (EUR/month) |
| Up to day 14 | 79,00 | 100,00 | 30,00 |
| Days 15–30 | 56,00 | 150,00 | 20,00 |
Travel support is calculated in accordance with the distance calculator.
Green travel options include train, bus, and carpooling (at least two people travelling in the same car).
Green travel support may be granted only if the majority of the journey is completed using environmentally friendly transport.
Green travel support cannot be granted if environmentally friendly transport is used only in one direction (e. g., going to the country of mobility by bus but returning by airplane).

In line with the principles of the Higher Education Charter, study mobility ensures equal opportunities, fair access, inclusion, and diversity regardless of the student’s background. Internship mobility is open to a wide range of participants, including those with fewer opportunities, such as people with disabilities (physical, mental, intellectual, or sensory impairments, which, in interaction with various barriers, may limit full and effective participation in society on an equal basis with others), health issues (health conditions, including serious illnesses, chronic conditions, or any physical or mental health situation that prevents participation in the programme), barriers related to education and training systems, cultural differences, social barriers, economic barriers, barriers related to discrimination, and geographical barriers.
Erasmus+ Programme Inclusion Support (for individuals with limited opportunities) may be granted to long-term or short-term study mobility participants who meet one or more of the following criteria:
