Application deadlines for Autumn intake 2026:

The application for degree studies at Daugavpils University in study year 2026/2027 starts on January 5, 2026 and ends on March 31, 2026.

The online application form must be submitted to apply for studies at Daugavpils University. Applicant must create an account to complete the online application. The documents will be revised only in case the full package is submitted. Incomplete applications will not be considered, please read the necessary list of documents carefully.

After uploading all the required documents and submitting an application, Daugavpils University coordinator will submit the applicant’s documents to Academic Information Centre for diploma recognition (the estimated duration of the process is 1 to 4 months).

Study fees for 2026/2027 academic year:

The online application form must be submitted to apply for studies at Daugavpils University. Applicant must create an account and online application form can be completed in multiple sessions.

Submission of an application form is possible only after all of the required documents are uploaded!

Comments on the documents to be uploaded:

• Secondary school diploma/certificate and transcript of grades with at least a 60% pass mark in specialised subjects. The documents must be in the original language and a notarized copy in English (applying for Bachelor’s degree). The document must be legalised.
• Bachelor’s degree diploma and its supplements with at least a 60% pass mark in specialised subjects. The documents must be in the original language and a notarized copy in English (applying for Master’s degree). The document must be legalised.
• Bachelor’s and Master’s degree (at least two year programme) diplomas and its supplements with at least a 60% pass mark in specialised subjects. The documents must be in original language and a notarized copies in English (applying for PhD.). The document must be legalised.
• Copy of passport
• Document confirming English language knowledge. Applicants who are native speakers of English are not required to submit any certificates. Accepted proof of proficiency: IELTS: 6.0, Pearson PLC: LEVEL 3 (B2), Educational Testing Services (TOEFL) iBT: 78 points (minimal points: reading – 18, listening – 18, speaking – 19, writing – 20), Cambridge English Language Assessment: Minimum of 160 points, ECL: B2, People Cert Qualification: LanguageCert Level 1 Certificate (listening, reading, writing) B2 level
