The Women’s Digital Course Creation Lab

The aim of the project: to encourage women aged 40+ from Latgale, Tartu County and South Estonia to use their knowledge, skills or hobbies to develop and offer their own digital learning products that develop their digital skills, entrepreneurial skills and economic independence, while promoting cross-border cooperation.

To achieve the set goal, the following activities are planned during the project:

1. Prepare an online learning platform with gamification elements, where learning content will be posted and accessible to participants 24/7.
2. Develop a 16-week training programme with six modules that will help create a digital learning product step by step.
3. Organize group mentoring and international cooperation, participants will work in teams of 4 (2 from Latvia, 2 from Estonia).
4. Provide practical tasks and personalized feedback from mentors throughout the course.
5. Organize in-person opening and closing events in Latgale and Tartu.
6. Ensure the visibility and impact of the project, including participation in the sTARTUp Day conference in Tartu.
7. Promote the development of participants’ digital, entrepreneurial and communication skills, preparing them for work in a global digital environment.

Project results:

At least 64 of the 80 women enrolled in the programme will complete The Women’s Digital Course Creation Lab training, and at least 32 of them will create and start selling their online courses.

This will increase entrepreneurship among women in the Latgale, Tartu and South Estonia regions.

Expected additional results may include any or all of the following:

1. starting self-employment or other forms of entrepreneurship
2. developing and selling a profitable online course
3. acquiring first customers
4. developing marketing skills and gaining self-confidence

Target groups

Women aged 40 to retirement age living in the Latgale region (Latvia) and Tartu, South Estonia (Estonia).
