European Union Cohesion policy programme 2021- 2027 1.1.1. Specific support objective “Developing and enhancing research and innovation capacities and the uptake of advanced technologies” within 1.1.1.9. activity “Post-doctoral research” project „ Development Of An Electrochemical Multisensor System For Biomarker Detection (EMS-Bio)” (application No. 1.1.1.9/LZP/1/24/185) is launched.

Total project funding: EUR 184,140.00 (ERDF funding EUR 156,519.00, public funding EUR 18,414.00, Daugavpils University funding EUR 9,207.00).

The aim of the project: To develop a new nanomaterial-based electrochemical multisensor system capable of detecting key biomarkers, including hydrogen peroxide, glucose, lactate, uric acid and cholesterol, as well as to improve the post-doctoral researcher’s competence and scientific capacity.

Planned project results: 6 conference papers, 4 scientific articles in scientific journals indexed in Web of Science and/or SCOPUS databases, a prototype of a multisensor system platform.
