More than 20 teachers participated in the international seminar “How to develop interdisciplinary approach for biodiversity studies?” organized at Daugavpils University within the Erasmus+ project “BioSustainED: Teacher Capacity Building in Biodiversity”. During the training the topic such as “Why does biodiversity matters? and What is our perception?” was presented interactively and teachers had an opportunity to reflect on it. Lithuanian experts presented their experience on effective interdisciplinary integration of Language, Arts and Natural Sciences: the Language of interdisciplinary integration of Language, Arts and Natural Sciences: the Language of Nature. Teachers also had opportunity to discover biodiversity of waterbodies and to participate in sampling of materials and analysis. Additionally, teachers worked in laboratory to discover diverse micro-world and performed practical exercises. Also, Roleplay game “Court” and World Cefé methodology were suggested and approbated for integration of the biodiversity topic in different school subjects.
