Representatives from the Thin Film Laboratory at the Institute of Solid State Physics, University of Latvia, Visit Daugavpils University to Strengthen Cooperation within SWEB Project

Representatives of the Thin Film Laboratory from the Institute of Solid State Physics, University of Latvia (LU CFI), recently visited the G. Liberts Innovative Microscopy Centre, part of the Department of Technology at the Institute of Life Sciences and Technology, Daugavpils University.

The visit was part of the Smart Windows for Zero Energy Buildings (SWEB) project and focused on exchanging knowledge and expertise, as well as outlining future collaboration aimed at enhancing technological processes related to magnetron sputtering coatings.

Both institutions emphasized the importance of cross-institutional cooperation in advancing sustainable technologies and high-precision materials science. The meeting provided an opportunity to align technical goals and explore ways to jointly improve research infrastructure and outcomes.
