The Researchers’ Night 2024 event at Daugavpils University concluded today, on October 15. As part of the event, thousands of participants took part in a special campaign—by attending various activities, they could collect stamps in a dedicated event questionnaire. Completed forms were submitted for a prize draw, with one lucky winner receiving an invitation to the Rector’s Office for a personal thank-you and a surprise gift.

In a highly competitive selection, the winner was Jurijs from Daugavpils, who attended Researchers’ Night for the first time – together with his wife and daughter. It was his daughter who led the family from one activity to another with great enthusiasm, ensuring their full attendance and a completed questionnaire.

The University is delighted to see such active family participation and looks forward to welcoming Jurijs and his family again at Researchers’ Night 2025. Their story reflects the true spirit of curiosity, discovery, and community that this event celebrates.
