Minister of Climate and Energy, Kaspars Melnis, Meets with Students of Daugavpils University’s Faculty of Natural Sciences and Health to Discuss Green Future Opportunities for Latvia

On December 13, a discussion took place at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Health at Daugavpils University, where the Minister of Climate and Energy, Kaspars Melnis, engaged with students to share insights on the latest innovations in energy production and Latvia’s potential for development in the green sector.

During the meeting, topics such as new energy production technologies, hazardous waste recycling, and Latvia’s potential to produce energy for transportation were addressed. The Minister emphasized the importance and opportunities of renewable resources and provided an overview of the ministry’s current and planned initiatives aimed at transitioning to an environmentally friendly and sustainable energy policy.
