On 9th October, the engaging tour was led by Msc.biol Marina Janovska, and the purpose of the visit was to inspire students to consider a career in biology, particularly in the field of coleopterology.

During the visit, students examined various specimens from beetle collections and met with industry professionals who shared their experiences and insights into the development of the field. The event highlighted the importance of the biology profession in science, sparking curiosity and interest among students about practical applications, and encouraging them to consider enrolling at Daugavpils University and exploring career opportunities after graduation.

Silenes Primary School aims to foster interest in the field of biology among students and plans to actively participate in more educational activities in the future.
