Today, on the eve of the anniversary of the Proclamation of the Republic of Latvia, the Rector of Daugavpils University, professor Arvīds Barševskis, led an inspiring class at Daugavpils State Gymnasium.
During the session, professor Barševskis spoke to students about the importance of purpose, motivation, and setting meaningful goals. He encouraged them to discover their passions, pursue what truly interests them, and to never underestimate the value of curiosity, enthusiasm, and personal hobbies. The Rector also highlighted the excitement and relevance of science in everyday life. He emphasised that both in Daugavpils and throughout Latvia, there are ample opportunities for young people to realise their potential. He praised the high quality of education at Daugavpils State Gymnasium and acknowledged the dedication and excellence of its teaching staff.
The session concluded with an engaging discussion, during which students had the opportunity to share their thoughts and ask questions.
