On September 27, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., European Researchers’ Night events will take place at Daugavpils University (Parādes iela 1 and Parādes iela 1a).

European Researchers’ Night is an event initiated by the European Commission, which takes place every year on the last Friday in September, explaining scientific achievements in an engaging way and allowing anyone interested to take a look at the secrets of scientific laboratories.

This event is organized in all European Union countries to promote research and innovation activities, raise awareness of the work of scientists and its impact on our daily lives, as well as encourage young people to choose a career in science.

Daugavpils University is the only scientific institution in Latgale that is organizing this event this year, offering a wide range of activities. We invite you to take a journey through the labyrinth of science, searching for simple answers to complex questions and meeting your own scientist.

After completing all stages of the maze, you will have the opportunity to participate in discussions, take part in quizzes, conduct experiments, engage in creative activities, take a look at the daily life of scientists, and visit laboratories.

We will be delighted if you manage to find your way through this scientific maze and meet your scientist!
