On June 10, 2024, Daugavpils University and the European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Training (CEPOL) signed a framework partnership agreement for the implementation of CEPOL training activities for 2025-2027. The training activity “Forensics – New Technologies” is planned to take place in Daugavpils, Latvia, in August 2025. One participant from each EU Member State will take part in the training.
CEPOL is the European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Training. Its mission is to provide professional training and knowledge sharing among law enforcement agencies across Europe. CEPOL organizes courses, seminars, and training sessions focused on areas such as information exchange, cybercrime investigation, and other European security priorities. The agency is based in Budapest, Hungary, and its activities promote cooperation and professionalism among European law enforcement agencies.
