Acta Biologica Universitatis Daugavpiliensis 2025 volume published at the end of last year

At the end of last year, the Institute of Life Sciences and Technology of Daugavpils University published two numbers of 2025 volume of Acta Biologica Universitatis Daugavpiliensis (ABUD).

The first issue of 2025 includes articles on urban green spaces, evaluation of a sediment model, flood susceptibility analysis, groundwater availability, the distribution of tropical lichens, spider communities in overgrowing grasslands, meiofauna in deciduous forests, Potentilla sect. Aureae in Latvia, Metapocyrtus species in the Philippines, and the tribes Oniticellini and Onthophagini in Nepal.

The second issue of 2025 includes articles on tree diversity and carbon sequestration potential, geospatial analysis of Aquilaria species, Cerambycidae beetles, the effect of antimycin on total protein composition in Triticum aestivum seedlings, fish stocks in Latvia’s inland waters, aquatic invertebrates, testing of metabarcoding using morphologically distinct samples, the subfamily Pselaphinae, and a new Sora taxon from the Himalayas.

Researchers and students are invited to submit their work to the journal, provided it relates to biodiversity, nature conservation, forestry, geography, environmental science, or similar topics.

All articles published in ABUD from 2020 onwards are indexed in the Scopus database.

All published articles are freely available to any interested reader (Open access).
