On February 10, 2025 the first class of the mini-project “Polish cultural-historical heritage in Daugavpils” took place at J. Pilsudski Daugavpils State Polish Gymnasium as a part of the “Horizon Europe” programme project “The Cultural Literacies’ Value in Europe” (CLiViE). The researcher Maija Grizāne introduced the pupils the main ideas of the CLiViE project and the course of implementation of the mini-project.

The project will be integrated in the curriculum of the “History and Social Sciences”. In the course of work the pupils of the 11^th grade (17-18 years old) will develop the quest “Polish cultural-historical heritage in Daugavpils” that will contribute to a deeper understanding of the cultural and historical heritage of the Daugavpils region and stimulate young people’s understanding of the value and diversity of past events.

Completing the anonymous questionnaire was the first research task of the mini-project, in which the pupils answered the questions about cultural practices and their own experiences of attending and organizing cultural and historical events.
