In April 2024, IHSS professor/senior researcher Anita Pipere has been accepted as a representative of Daugavpils University (Latvia) in the COST project CA22156 Transformations International experience and research network for sustainable futures (TransformERS) (Action Chair Dr. Julia Leventon). Duration of the project: 31 October, 2023 – 30 October 2027. The project’s working groups are assembled by representatives from European countries, the UK, and the USA. The project aims to promote research, policies, and practices on transformations that bring justice to a changing global context by collecting and positioning research related to the transformation of society. The activities of A. Pipere within the framework of the project will take place in the working group “Current Transformations” (W3) and in the working group “Future Sustainability Transformations” (W4).
