The OpenEU Alliance invites students from underrepresented groups enrolled in OpenEU partner institutions to participate in the OpenEU Volunteering Program
This programme offers meaningful volunteering opportunities across Europe in key areas such as digital transformation, climate emergency, democracy, and European values. The program is open to students from underrepresented groups who are enrolled at OpenEU partner institutions.
Why Participate?
Gain valuable experience working with civil society organizations (CSOs) and non-profit partners across Europe.
Contribute to important causes like climate change, democracy, and digital inclusion.
Financial support will be provided to cover mobility costs, including travel and accommodation, depending on the availability of a volunteering placement.
Eligibility:
We welcome applicants from individuals who:
Are enrolled at OpenEU partner universities.
Belong to an underrepresented group (e.g., Women in STEAM, migrants and refugees, people with disabilities, and people living in rural areas).
Submit a letter of motivation explaining why you are interested in participating in the program.
What’s Offered?
Financial Support for mobility, including travel and accommodation, provided there is proof of placement with a vetted CSO or non-profit.
Personal and professional development opportunities through engagement with significant civic and social initiatives.
Motivation to contribute to social and civic initiatives.
