872 238.00 EUR, including 741 402.30 EUR of European Regional Development Fund funding and 130 835.70 EUR of state co-funding.
Aim of the project:
The aim of the project is to modernize the study environment at Daugavpils University and its cooperation partner, Daugavpils University Agency “Daugavpils University Daugavpils Medical College,” ensuring the highest quality of higher education and the introduction of industry-relevant technologies in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) study programmes, with a particular focus on healthcare and arts study programmes.
Planned results of the project:
1. Modernized study infrastructure and improved learning environment for STEAM programmes The project will improve the study infrastructure of Daugavpils University and its partner, Daugavpils Medical College, by adapting the premises to STEAM study programmes: Information Technology, Physiotherapy, Nursing, and Art Management. Specialized equipment is purchased and installed to improve the study process
2. Modern equipment will be purchased during the implementation of the project, including computer technology, medical simulation equipment, physiotherapy testing equipment, and professional audio-visual technology for art studies. Digital ICT solutions will be implemented to digitize the study process and improve quality
3. Modern e-learning tools, personalized learning platforms, virtual reality solutions, and digital rehabilitation software will be introduced to ensure the efficiency, interactivity, and relevance of the study process to the demands of the labour market.
