The annual Nordic Days will take place in Daugavpils, offering city residents and visitors a more extensive program than in previous years – exhibitions, theatre performances for adults and children, Nordic films, and various seminars. The Nordic Council of Ministers’ Office in Latvia, in cooperation with the embassies of Denmark, Norway, Finland, and Sweden in Latvia and the Danish Cultural Institute, is organizing thematic days for the ninth consecutive year.

In cooperation with Daugavpils City Council, Augšdaugava County Council, Daugavpils University, the Rothko Museum and other institutions, events will take place at various locations throughout the city. The highlight of Nordic days will culminate on October 15 and 16, when Nordic ambassadors and employees of the Danish Cultural Institute will visit Daugavpils, meet with representatives of the municipality and schools, and participate in several public events. However, events related to the Nordic countries will take place in the city throughout October, starting with exhibitions, some of which will be open at the beginning of October.
