On March 7, 2025, Daugavpils University will host a remote conference on scientific research projects by students from the Latgale region.

This year, 234 research projects from 26 educational institutions in the Latgale region were submitted for evaluation. At the conference, 217 students will present 189 reports in the following scientific fields: natural sciences; social sciences; engineering and technology; medicine and health sciences; humanities and arts; agriculture, forestry and veterinary sciences.

The best reports in each scientific field will be nominated to present at the 49th Latvian Student Scientific Research Conference, which will take place in Riga on April 25 this year.
