On May 23, 2025, the annual international scientific conference “Sports: Education, Science, Technology” will take place, organized by the DU Department of Sport in cooperation with Klaipeda University (Lithuania), University of Kalisz (Poland), and Rivne State Humanitarian University (Ukraine).

Students, lecturers, sports and health specialists, and other interested parties who wish to promote their scientific research, experience, and best practices in the field of sports and health education on an international scale are invited to participate in the conference.

The aim of the conference: To promote scientific research and international cooperation in the field of sports and health sciences, and to facilitate innovation and technology transfer to professional practice.

Conference working languages: English, Latvian.

The conference will take place online in Zoom platform. The conference will begin at 10:00 a.m.

Please register for the conference by May 20, 2025, by sending the application form with an abstract of your presentation to the e-mail address: alona.korniseva@du.lv. You can also participate in the conference as a listener by sending the application form with your contact information. Registration for the conference will only be confirmed with an attached application.

The duration of the presentation is 8-10 minutes.
