Daugavpils University proudly welcomes a new cohort of international students who are set to begin their academic journeys as full-time students in bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral study programmes for the upcoming academic year. This year, the university continues its tradition of fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment by enrolling over 64 students from a wide range of countries including Bangladesh, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, India, Nigeria and others.

The arrival of students from various parts of the world not only enriches the academic community at Daugavpils University but also adds to the cultural tapestry of the university and the city of Daugavpils. International students bring unique perspectives, languages, and experiences that contribute to a more globalized learning atmosphere for all.

The International and Public Relations Office has been actively preparing for the students’ arrival, ensuring a smooth transition into academic life and daily living in Latvia, specifically Daugavpils City. Latvian language courses and an informative day are part of the university’s ongoing efforts to support integration and success.
