On October 2, 2023, Daugavpils University hosted a meeting with Andrejs Zelčs, Director of the Daugavpils Business Incubator. The meeting was also attended by Uldis Valainis, Director of the Institute of Life Sciences and Technologies at Daugavpils University.

The discussion focused on strengthening cooperation and exploring new initiatives. Particular emphasis was placed on the strategic importance of hosting the Business Incubator within the premises of Daugavpils University. This move is expected to encourage greater student engagement, foster the formation of entrepreneurial teams, and support the development of innovative ideas.

Plans were also made to organize similar meetings with students in the near future to further promote collaboration and innovation.
