From October 7 to 11, three representatives from the field of education and pedagogy from Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce, Poland, visited Daugavpils University: Associate Professor Agnieszka Szplit, Associate Professor Zuzanna Zbróg, and Dr. Aldona Kopik. The visit was part of the European Union’s ERASMUS+ Staff Teaching Mobility program, with the aim of gaining experience in language acquisition methods and approaches used in Daugavpils.
During their visit, the Polish educators exchanged experiences with lecturers from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Daugavpils University, as well as with staff from the Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences (HSZI), and acquired new knowledge.
On October 9, together with the leading researcher of the DU HSZI Sustainable Education Center, Ph.D. Ilona Fjodorova, they visited the Daugavpils University Institute of Life Sciences and Technology (DZTI), where they were introduced to the institute’s laboratory operations and scientific research.
