Admission requirements:

  • a bachelor’s degree in biology or medicine, or environmental science, or 2nd level higher professional education in the field of biology, medicine, pharmacy or veterinary medicine;
  • Knowledge of at least level B2 English in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Content of the study program:

Current problems of biology, Field research methodology, Advantages of interdisciplinary research, Nature recreation strategy, Economic biology, Nature therapy, Human safety, Environmental interpretation and demonstrations.

The study program gives an opportunity to:

Improve and strengthen the link between research, innovation and job creation, to develop skills and abilities in scientific research work in the field of nature recreation, to develop skills and abilities in modern information processing and use of the latest information technologies for nature recreation. To deepen insight into the planning of economically justified nature recreation strategies.

Graduates of the study program will have the opportunity to:

  • to continue doctoral studies.
  • to join the EU and Latvian work force and offer their knowledge and skills.
