Daugavpils University invites third-country nationals to enrol for free courses of the Latvian language

Daugavpils University is the largest educational institution in Latgale with a big experience in realising projects in the sphere of integration.
In November 2016 in the frames of planning the European Fund of Asylum, Migration and Integration of 2014-2020 with the financial support of the European Union (75%) and from the means of the Latvian state budget (25%) Daugavpils University has received financing for the project “The Courses of the Latvian Language for Third-country Nationals “LATVIA – MY HOME””), the number of the grant contract is PMIF/6/2016/1/08.
The target audience of the project:
- third-country (the Ukraine, Belarus, Russia, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, etc.) nationals, who have come to Latvia and legally live on its territory;
If you belong to any of the categories mentioned above, we invite you to enrol for three-month free courses of the Latvian language.
We invite not just the residents of Daugavpils, but also of the whole Latgale and Latvia to enrol for the courses, as we can provide accommodation if necessary. The project work and the courses will take place in the premises of Daugavpils University.
The project will be conducted by highly-qualified teachers with a big work experience using modern methods. The time and days of classes will be agreed with the course participants after setting the groups.
